Doral Opaque

Doral Opaque fabric has been around for over 50 years. Fred Krieger was instrumental in developing this fabric which became one of the first synthetic stage fabrics. It is a unique fabric made by blending 3 fibers; saran, modacrylic, and rayon. It has a vinyl backing that is available in either black or beige. The result is an IFR fabric like no other. It does not burn or melt when put to flame.  It just leaves a slight “char”. It is easily spot cleaned or dry cleaned on premises.

This is an exceptionally versatile fabric, perfect for the stage or for window treatments, school theater curtains, as well as a blackout solution for labs, studios, and other commercial purposes. No fabric is more durable or longer lasting than Doral; it is ideal for heavy use areas. Doral Opaque is available in 19 colors.
