About Scrims & Cycloramas
The core of this category is width. Sharkstooth scrim runs 20 feet seamless in black, white, and blue, reading opaque under front light and transparent when lit from behind. Leno, an open-grid weave with twisted warp yarns that resist slippage, comes 20 and 31 feet seamless in white and grey. Muslin runs 12 feet wide in five colors, with a surface that takes scenic paint well and holds its shape under tension.
For cycloramas and studio work, IFR Cyc Cloth is a tight-weave, inherently flame-retardant cloth built for seamless backgrounds and projection. IFR Poplin Cyc Cloth, 72 inches wide, has a dense plain weave with a matte, non-reflective face for masking and backdrops where opacity matters. Supreme Green Screen, 62 inches wide, comes in chromakey green, digital green, digital blue, and chromakey blue for clean chroma key extraction. Everything ships by the yard or full bolt from a stocked warehouse, with zero-day lead times on many fabrics.

Do these fabrics meet fire codes like NFPA 701?
The IFR Cyc Cloth and IFR Poplin Cyc Cloth are inherently flame retardant, meaning the property is built into the fiber rather than applied as a coating. For certified fabrics we supply flame-retardant certificates on request, covering NFPA 701, CAN/ULC-S109, and California Title 19. Tell us where the fabric will hang and we will confirm the documentation before you order.
What seamless widths are available?
Sharkstooth scrim comes 20 feet seamless in black, white, and blue. Leno comes in 20 foot and 31 foot seamless widths in white and grey. Muslin is 12 feet wide in five colors, including natural and sky blue. IFR Poplin Cyc Cloth is 72 inches wide, and Supreme Green Screen is 62 inches wide.
Can I get samples before ordering?
Yes. Sample cards and spec sheets are free on request. Seeing the actual weave matters with scrims: the open grid of leno and the rectangular weave of sharkstooth behave differently under light, and a hand sample lets you test paint, opacity, and color against your design before committing to yardage.
Do you sell by the yard or only by the bolt?
Both. Fabric is sold by the yard for single drops and repairs, and by the full bolt for larger builds or ongoing programs. For volume pricing, or if you need the fabric made to measure, submit a quote request and we will price the job.
